When it comes to the color amber, it’s been a fashionable for decades, especially during the Depression area, and through to the 70’s. Admittedly, amber is one of the easier colors to find when it comes to Depression and vintage art glass, and glassware, but the patterns and shapes are not always as easy to find. I spent time researching this vase to find out more of it’s history, but unfortunately (or fortunately) I could not find a similar vase, or a hint of the manufacturer. The color and signs of being handmade or at least not modern are visible with the wear and bubbles and other inclusions in the glass.
